Millie & George: An Essex Vineyard Wedding
Having met Millie and George countless times at other weddings over the years, I knew that their wedding would be a beautiful affair with dancing in September.
After the church ceremony, the newly married couple drove all the way from Danbury to the reception in a green and yellow tuk-tuk, where they were met by their friends for drinks in the vineyard before joining the rest of the guests.
The reception was held in a gorgeous Sail & Peg marquee in the grounds of the early 17th-century Wellinditch Farmhouse, next to the vineyard overlooking South Woodham Ferrers. I drive past most days on my way to the gym, and I remember the wedding every single time I pass by. The day was filled with drinks, delicious food, elegant dresses and decor, and partying well into the night. All the plans of the day went so well, as I expected, knowing the other suppliers on the day from over my years in the wedding industry.
It was a beautiful and very laid-back day, and I expected nothing less from Millie and George. I knew it was going to be a fun one!

Marquee Wedding Inspiration
I am regularly booked to photograph weddings that take place at home, in a field, or in a garden, rather than at a dedicated venue, probably because my photography style is so flexible and truly complements weddings that follow their own unique path.
