“One of the best and most important decisions…

…we made about our wedding was asking Tracy Morter to be our photographer.

We were looking for a natural style, for an honest record of our day with the characters of friends and family shining through. Tracy was with us the entire day, she let us be ourselves and allowed our day to just happen.” – Elli & Bully

15 years of Experience

Relaxed & Reportage Style:

Capturing the story of your wedding day requires more than just camera skills—it’s about connection. By getting to know you and your loved ones, I create a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. I focus on capturing beautiful natural photographs of people and unique moments filled with real emotions, character, love, and humour, rather than following a rigid checklist.

Exclusive Attention:

I provide a highly personalised service. Every individual photograph is chosen and thoughtfully edited by me, in my vibrant and warm style. I don’t rely on AI or outsourcing—each image receives my undivided attention, preserving the personal touch that defines my work.
To ensure the highest level of service and dedicate my full attention to your wedding day and its detailed post-production process, I limit the number of weddings I take on each year. I recommend getting in touch early in your wedding planning to secure your preferred date.

Invest in a Timeless Keepsake

Our handcrafted, archival-quality fine art wedding albums from Folio are designed to preserve your memories for generations to come.
Unlike digital solutions, these albums will never crash, become outdated, or fail. They offer the most secure and beautiful way to preserve your wedding photographs.
To order your album, you have two options: you can choose to include it in your wedding photography package before your big day, or you can order it separately after the wedding.

I keep your digital files for at least two years, giving you plenty of time to create a personalised album that you’ll cherish forever.
If you’d like to learn more about my wedding albums and see my brochure, please don’t hesitate to ask.

I can’t recommend a ‘hard copy’ enough. Holding an album in your hands brings your memories to life in a way that a screen never can.

The Booking Process

If I am available for your wedding day it’s time for us to get to know each other a bit. We can arrange a Zoom meeting or phone call. Share with me your plans and stories. I can answer any questions you might have about how I work, and you can ensure I am the kind of person you wouldn’t mind having around at your wedding.

Once you’ve decided you’d like to go ahead and book, I will send over a quote, a form to gather some basic details and a digital contract to sign.
There is a non-refundable booking fee of £400 to secure the date; I can accept card payments and bank transfer.

As we approach your wedding date we will catch-up. I can address any last-minute questions you have and discuss the timing and schedule of your wedding day.

Couple hug at the end of their wedding ceremony. Friends and family clap. Outdoors in the marquee. Suit by The Groom’s Room in Colchester. Dress called Jack by Made With Love from Halo + Wren bridal. Houchins wedding photography by Tracy Morter.
Tracy is the most wonderful photographer; super friendly, very skilled, and her non-intrusive, documentary-style photography really helped make our wedding day what we wanted it to be – laid-back and fun!

The results are fabulous with tonnes of gorgeous candid pics of us and all our guests all having the best time (though we also got Tracy to do a couple of the more traditional family group-shots and these are brilliant too.) Can’t recommend highly enough!
