Tom Morello fist in the air and Fuck Trump sign on his Arm the Homeless guitar at Prophets of Rage gig in 2017

Prophets of Rage at Brixton Academy

Last night I was back in the photo pit for another politically charged gig, what a sign of the times.
I don’t honestly know where to start because it was just amazing. If you are not aware Prophets of Rage are the combined talents and energy of Tom, Timmy C and Brad of Rage Against The Machine, Chuck D and DJ Lord of Public Enemy, and B-Real of Cypress Hill.

Brixton was rammed, wall to wall sweat, beer and anger at the state of the world. I’ll never fail to be astounded at the power music has to move people, physically and emotionally. Firing us up to fight for change. An unforgettable and much needed night for all of us who were there.

It was such an honour to be so warmly welcomed by these wonderful people.
