Chelmsford Wedding Photographer

I was born in Chelmsford and haven’t strayed too far, just down the road in South Woodham.
However, this job has taken me to many faraway places—from Ireland to Italy.
It’s always a treat to photograph weddings here at home too. Most of the Chelmsford wedding venues are on the outskirts of the main city area, such as The Lion House in Boreham and Pontlands Park in Great Baddow.
If you venture a bit further, you’ll discover Leez Priory in Little Leighs, the very first country house in the UK to be granted a license for civil wedding ceremonies.

Choosing a Wedding Photographer in Chelmsford

My approach to wedding photography isn’t typically what you’d associate with Essex, but I’ve always had a lifelong habit of defying stereotypes! I focus on capturing genuine, natural moments—often referred to as documentary or reportage wedding photography.

I won’t be directing or staging scenes to make them look a certain way. I believe things are perfect just as they happen. This approach allows me to take photographs that truly capture someone’s essence, showcasing their character without relying on clichés or forced smiles. It’s through this genuine approach that I deliver beautiful photographs to my couples, telling the unique story of their wedding day and the love they share.

Dogs at Weddings

I’ve had the pleasure of capturing numerous weddings in and around the Chelmsford area, where couples have chosen to include their much loved dogs in their day.
