Baddow Park House Wedding Venue
Baddow Park House is one of those rare venues that feels completely tucked away, yet it’s just minutes from the A12 near Chelmsford. Surrounded by fields and tall, mature trees, it’s peaceful, private, and full of character. Perfect for outdoor ceremonies in the warmer months or cosy, elegant celebrations indoors when the weather turns.
It’s also incredibly easy to get to, with plenty of parking and good transport links—ideal if you’ve got guests coming from different parts of Essex, London, or beyond.
The venue is owned by James and Samantha, and you can really feel the personal care that’s gone into it. James has a background in arboriculture, so the trees on the grounds aren’t just a feature—they’re a passion. The setting is beautiful but and thoughtfully and stylishly looked after.
Gaynor is the venue’s wedding consultant, and she’s a name every experienced Essex supplier knows. She’s been a big part of the local wedding world for more than a decade, and for the past few years, she’s been helping couples plan their day at Baddow Park House with calm, capable support.
As a baby, I lived just round the corner in Galleywood, and I’m now about 20 minutes away in South Woodham Ferrers. After more than 15 years photographing weddings, I can honestly say this is one of those venues that just feels right. It’s stylish, welcoming, and run by people who genuinely care.
