Gabriella & Connor: Alpheton Hall Barns in May

There was a very wet start to Gabriella and Connor’s wedding at Alpheton Hall Barns in May. An outdoor ceremony was originally planned, but such is the nature of our weather, you can never be sure until the moment… nowcasting!

So they married indoors in the West Barn, in front of their family and friends. Their beautiful daughter and their dogs, Hank, Logan, and Ronnie, were by their side. The artist Gina Southgate live painted the ceremony as they took their vows.

Gabriella’s mum made her bridal gown, with real flowers sewn into the removable outerskirt. It got a bit muddy with the rain, so it was hung up to dry during dinner!

Gabriella planned for evening entertainment outside in the Stackyard Garden after dinner. The sun finally turned up just in time so the newly married couple and their guests could enjoy funfair games and candy floss in the early evening May sunshine.
